A Cosy Christmas Release

Jo Browning has lived more creative lives than most people squeeze into three lifetimes: comedian, writer, DJ, lyricist, singer, philosopher, dog mum, accidental inventor of half a dozen AI systems, and now — somehow — a Christmas songwriter with a global digital release.
Every artist name with "Jo" in it was already gone. Every combination. Every variation. After 12 straight hours of searching, delirious and fed up, Jo muttered: "Oh just call me No Name Jo. Nobody will want that."
For the first time that day, the internet agreed.
No Name Jo isn't a character. It's Jo stripped of everything except heart, humour and raw honesty.

Although I've been a human singer-songwriter, musician and comedian all my life — and, like most artists, my work has almost certainly been swept up in the mass AI scraping of the internet — this Christmas single began as a little whimsical idea.
I put my first ideas into an AI music generator, sang into it, wrote all the lyrics myself, and gave it clear instructions on style, voice and musical arrangement. When I had a rough draft I liked, I pulled it into my DJ decks, remixed it, added warmth and reverb to give it that cosy, "live performance" feel. Once I was happy with the composition, I remastered it and released it in the form you're hearing now.
I use AI the same way I'd use any other musical instrument or studio tool — a way to speed up the journey from an idea-seed to a finished track. As a solo artist with limited resources (and definitely not the budget for a full orchestra, a room of session musicians, and a choir!), AI helps me bring my creative vision to life faster — perfect for a last-minute charity Christmas single.
In future releases I'll be working more with recordings of my natural voice, but for this fast charity turnaround I sang directly into the AI system and let it enhance and support my vocals. I'm not claiming this is an untouched, natural-raw vocal — but the lyrics, the musical direction, the arrangements and the overall creative vision are entirely mine.
I hope you enjoy the result — and keep an ear out for new music featuring more of my own voice very soon.

"Tis the Season: The Making of a Christmas Charity Single"
Molly isn't just the dog. She's the mascot of everything Jo builds: love, softness, silliness, loyalty, survival, joy.
Her little face ended up on the cover of "Cosy Croon," and somehow everything made more sense.
This is Molly — the real star of the show.
